Please note that in order to ensure an equitable and fair class placement process, “special requests” for a specific teacher, team, or placement with friends will not be accepted.

For fifth grade, elementary school groups, gender, special programs, and elementary counselor input will be considered by school staff as the classes are formed. Class assignments will be posted online approximately one week before school starts.

In sixth-eighth grades, students are randomly placed by computer in class sections. Placement in class sections is prioritized by student course selection choices, elimination of course conflicts, gender, and special program placements.
